Imagine…
The warm rays of the sun baking the bikini clad bodies of beach goers to a fine tan, the colorful beach balls, cool waves of the sea and whistling wind from afar. Good isn’t it? March is the start of summer season of the Philippines and now as May comes to a near end, summer season has also been off closed by the PAG – ASA (Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration) for the country has recently been bombarded by 3 typhoons already, yes! That’s right – right in the middle of summer season, 3 typhoons! Tsk!
Since nursing students are required to have summer classes, I have to attend school while others are off running around in beaches and enjoying the blazing sun. So much for summer fun! I have to stay in four walled classrooms, face-boring senseis and comply with requirements. Tsk! But then, there is something good to all that – I get to hang out with my HS (high school) friends. At least I get to do something fun besides the fact that I have to attend school.
