People say I have it made that they wish they had my life and my family, but they don’t even know the half of it. My life started in the state of Missouri, Lake of the Ozarks. Wonderful place if you ask me. Well everything was going great, until I turned eight I had got a severe kidney infection, they took me to the hospital and I guess there was an angel watching over me because the doctor told my parents that if I was brought in a day later I would have died. Well I got better sitting in a hospital for two days thank god and went home. A few years later my mom had got into a car wreck, the truck rolled three times and threw her out the back window. Her hip and back were all screwed up. After that I started to get anxiety attacks ( stressed out about something or worried) once I finally told my mom about it they decided to take me to a psychiatrist so that I wouldn’t worry every time I left for school. A few years went by and everything was going great mom was back on her feet and working, dad was still doing the same concrete work and dry walling, and well my sisters and I were still going to school. One day my dad had come home from work, for some reason my mom had went off on him, well that’s when everything kind of fell apart. MY parents fight everyday usually about money problems but other times it is when my dad will go out and try to have a good time. After awhile things chilled out, my mom had to go in for a surgery were they would stick a tube down her throat and stretch it out. After the surgery my mom was sent home, the doctor never came out to see how she was doing or tell her how it went just ok there you go good bye. Once she got home she had go lay down then all of a sudden she starts screaming at the time I was eleven years old so I’ m freakin out. I call my dad and a friend of ours. She came got mom and took her to the hospital again. They took a look and noticed they had tore a hole in her esophagus and had gottin infected. So they had to fly her to the Columbia hospital. They told my dad that she had maybe a two percent chance that she would live. Four months went by with her going back and forth between getting better and getting worse. Once she finally got out of the hospital she had decided that we were moving to Indiana so that she would be close to her family and get help when she needed it. At the time I was in a one year relationship with a boy who I loved, so being separated was really bed. Well here I am 15 and still wondering if my life can get any worse. I have a kid which I would never give up or change if I had the chance, my mom looks at me differently, and I baby sit for my 22 year old sister. Life couldn’t get any better. Well then my parents kept arguing and the sad thing is, is that I am stuck smack dap in the middle of it. They both come to me and tell me there problems that they have about each other. Well one of the days that I had talked to my dad he had told me that if they got into another really big fight that he was leaving. I don’t know where to go from there but people really want to live my life where anything and everything you do isn’t good enough. I would trade my life in for another any day as long as I had my son with me and I was happy. I guess life just doesn’t go that way.
