The Chocolate Catastrophe: Chapter Three

Chapter Three: The Flight

As Lolita and Osiris galloped away in Zidia, back on earth, Dawn was looking for Lolita. After Dawn's hearty lunch in the cafeteria, she had noticed Lolita had gone missing. Remembering their short aquaintance with Osiris's brother in the hallway, Dawn went back to investigate. She was wondering where Lolita had disappeared to in such a hurry to have missed lunch. She returned to the spot where she had spotted the mysterious boy in the white cape, but Lolita was no where to be found.

"Lolita! where are you?" Dawn called out, looking around the empty hallway. As she walked down and turned the corner, one of the lockers began to glow. Curiously, Dawn went to it, tempted by its tremendous glow. There was no lock on it, and it had looked as if it were pried open before. Dawn opened it quickly. Inside was a swirling light, which hovered in air. She put her hand in to touch it, but her hand went right through.

"What the hell is this?" she whispered, even though the hall was empty. Swiftly making sure the coast was clear, she hastily stuck her whole arm in and pulled it out quickly.

"Cool!" Dawn squealed with excitement. In realization of this new development, Dawn stuck her whole torso inside the swirling light. On the other side she saw a large forest. Giggling from the sight, she crawled through the light, and was now in the forest. Slowly she peered around the trees and bushes, and looked up seeing large towers..

"Wow...this is so totally sweet!" Dawn smiled and walked through the bushes into a small clearing, to her left she heard a clickety-roaring sound that gave her shivers down her spine. Her smile melted into a fearful frown. Afraid to investigate further, she turned quickly around to go back through the portal, but it had vanished.

While Dawn franticly tried to hide from the noise, on the other side of the forest, Lolita and Osiris were still looking for Taturan on horseback. They now heard his cry, and began to follow it through the thick trees.

"Taturan!" Osiris yelled, while Lolita was too preoccupied with trying to hold on for dear life. Osiris was galloping faster and faster, which was making Lolita sick. They reached a clearing, where the dragomite had fallen before.

" This is the place," Lolita reassured, quickly dismounting as soon as they stopped, vomiting in a bush.

"AAAAAhhh!" Screeched Dawn, rising out of the bushes, now covered in vomit, "YOU PUKED ON ME!"
Both Lolita and Osiris jumped back in surprise, Osiris had drawn his sword.
Dawn looked at them, back and forth, then back and forth once more, "Lolita?" Dawn's face returned to a smile. "It's really you! Thank God!" She rushed up and gave Lolita a gigantic hug.

"Dawn....you're suffocating me.." Lolita gasped, as Dawn let go quickly.
"Oh..sorry Lolita, I'm just so happy I found you, I've been looking literally everywhere!" Dawn jumped for joy and did a happy dance while Lolita watched amused.

Osiris frowned, with his sword still  drawn and asked, "Who are you?!"
Dawn stopped dancing and turned around, " I should be asking you that!"

Dawn frowned back, making a disgusting look then smiling back at Lolita, " Who's this punk?"

Lolita looked at Osiris a little embarassed by Dawn's remark, because Osiris's face began to glow red again. " This is my new friend Osiris, we're looking for his dragomite."

"Oh, I see.....what the hell is that? And isn't that the kid that disappeared in the hallway?" Dawn glared, pointing at Osiris, which angered him even more. Lolita quickly pushed down Dawn's hand. Osiris  looked like he wanted to stangle Dawn. Fearing chaos might break loose, Lolita quickly explained what happened, and about the chocolate portal bar she had discovered in the hallway.

"So that's how you got here...I was wondering where you went, because you missed sloppy joe's day!" Dawn smiled, rubbing her stomach with glee.
"Sloppy joe's?" Osiris scowled at Dawn, although looking very puzzled, "enough small talk, we must find Taturan."
"Okay, let's get a move on, and no fighting you two!" Lolita smiled weakly, rubbing her stomach in reminisce of sloppy Joe's.
Soooooo hungry...

The three of them began to walk through the clearing, calling out Taturan's name. In the clearing, Lolita stepped in a silver pool of sticky liquid, "eeww," she looked down, wiping her shoes off with leaves. "What is that?" Dawn noticed, stepping out of its path.
"Its dragomite blood," Osiris uttered grimly, "this way."
They walked and walked through the forest, hearing nothing but chirping and the wind.

"How long does it take to find this thing," Dawn groaned, tapping on her watch.
Osiris growled back, " as long as it takes," and returned to walk along the path.

Finally they heard the same cry as before and ran in its direction.

"Over here!" Osiris hollered sprinting, as Lolita and Dawn followed.

In a large clearing, Taturan laid on his stomach asleep, breathing heavily from a wound on his side.

"He looks badly injured," Lolita sighed, avoiding looks at Osiris's grim face.
" Yes he does, it doesn't look good at all," Osiris kneeled and rubbed taturan's side, his hand covered in silver blood.
"What do we do?" Dawn asked briskly, also avoiding the sadness in Osiris's face.
" I'll have to take him to my castle and repair him."
" How the heck do you suppose we do that?!" Dawn asked, exasperated at the thought of seeing the three of them carrying the enormous dragonmite.
" I hate to be rude, but Dawn has a point," Lolita sighed.

Osiris took out a small bottle of blue powder and poured it into a circle around Taturan. Chanting in mystical toungue, Osiris then waved his sword in the air and then stuck it hard into the blue powder circle. A large glowing cage appeared around Taturan, then Osiris waved his sword in the air and yelled "Expellios!"
Taturan vanished, and the two girls stared in amazement.

"Wow," Lolita gulped, " I didn't see that coming."
"Yeah...I almost thought we would have to carry that thing," Dawn brushed back her hair in relief..
The three of them laughed awkwardly. Osiris's laughter quickly faded, as he then took the rest of the blue powder and circled the three of them raised his sword and said the word....
