Giving credit where it's due!
Why do people post other artists artwork without giving credit to them, or saying that they created it when they didn't!? Every time I find an artwork that I'd like to post on a site like Tokyopop I request permission from the artist to post it, or if it's from a Yahoo Group I'm a member of then I post the Groups name with the photo. Or even post the website where you found it originally!/
This isn't hard! Just give credit where it's due!

I agree. I'm always afraid that somebody's going to steal my artwork and change it and claim it as theirs. Most of the things I draw are from anime, but still. I would hate to have my art stolen and not given credit.

But if another user visits a site constantly then they come to this site and notices a photo of the previous sites Art without giving credit to the artist who created it, then theres a problem!? All I'm saying is give credit i.e. 'I found this photo on (Artists websites name/websites name)' or if you found it on a group then the groups name!? I'm not saying posting others peoples pics/Art is bad just give credit to where you got it from!? Most Artists have little e-mail links that allows YOU to e-mail them, USE THEM PEOPLE GET PERMISSION, cause if they didn't want people to see their work they wouldn't post them!? It's how they get feedback on their style of ARTWORK! If I took YOUR ORIGINAL ARTWORK, posted it as mine, and claimed it as mine wouldn't you be TICKED OFF at me!? All I'm saying is give credit to where you got your posting, NOTHING MORE/NOTHING LESS!?

so very true ^__^ I've seen a lot of pictures on this site and the most annoying thing is when two or more people have the same picture and they both claim to have created it. X__x Then when you tell them that it's not theirs they get mad and put up a defense by blocking your comments and telling you to back off which is really dumb because all your trying to do is tell them that the picture isn't theirs... :P *sigh* why can't they just post things that are theirs?
