“Hey Alexis, look at this.  It’s an article about Abbey, the Apple Saint.”  Once that was said, her friend got up to read the article.

            Lori gave Alexis the article to read aloud.  “A mere girl of 10 from Albany, New York has been declared “Apple Saint of the Universe” for what she had done.  Abbey Campbell is a girl whom wanted to learn how to peel apples just like her grandmother, Helena Campbell.

            “Unfortunately, she didn’t quite have the experience to begin to peel an apple.  Without giving up, she went to Hong Kong in search for the Apple Peeler; with luck, she had found him.  Evidently, her sensei gave up all his hopes within her since she didn’t understand how the apple felt when being peeled.

            “Heartbroken, young Abbey Campbell flew back to New York only to buy over 15 million dollars worth of apples and knives.  She peeled and peeled but she just couldn’t peel the apple right.  When she cut herself the knife on purpose, it made her feel what the apples had felt when she peeled them.

            “Without much thought, she took all the other apples she didn’t peel to her room to get in contact with the apples.  After a day, she understood their emotions.  The next day, she packed her apples and knives in suitcases and went on a flight to Africa.

            “She practice peeling the apples everyday and even though she messed up, she give the apple to the children and families.  Soon enough, little Abbey had improved and even though she had improves, she continued to give the families the apples.  Then she bought more apples and knives to take to all the third-world countries to give as food.

            “Thanks to this little girl’s passion for peeling apples, world hunger is not an issue anymore; garbage is our newest issue, now.  Try to recycle!  What kind of... what do you think, Lori?”

            “I think that little Abbey Campbell and the article is inspirational.  Excuse me for a moment, Alexis.  I must cry it out now that I know that world-hunger is not an issue.”

            Lori left the room slowly as Alexis ran out the door, looking for someone to agree with that the article is down right stupid.  “Hey, do you think that this newspaper article is stupid?” But it did not matter, everyone didn’t agree w/ Alexis.

            Soon enough, everyone, except Alexis, began to eat apples and apples only.  Without warning, everyone whom ate all those apples suddenly succumb to an awful disease and died.  Unfortunately, Alexis was the only one whom survive since she didn’t eat the apples.

            All  alone in the world, Alexis took the article with her.  She decided to travel all the way to the earth’s equator.  When she got there, she shouted, “Doesn’t anyone agree with me?”

            “I do agree w/ you, my dear.” A guy on a boat w/ some food came to her rescue.  As soon as he reached her, he said, “You look hunger; do you want something to eat?”

            Alexis nodded her head as the guy picked up some fruit.  He handed her one, toasted the fruit and took one bit.  Unfortunately, those were apples and it was his intentions to kill himself along w/ her; now everyone’s dead.
