BRATZ - Editor's Notes

EDITOR'S INTRODUCTION
From dolls to the big screen, the fashion diva phenomenon known as BRATZ finally makes it over to manga. Personally, I’ve always been a fan of high-fashion and high school angst, so getting to work on this project was a whole lot of fun! Artist Anthony Tan did a great job staying true to the BRATZ image while adding the vibrancy and motion that is manga! Plus, all the new characters we meet in the Center for Extraordinary Abilities are all so lovable—please don’t call me weird when I say I actually developed a crush on the bad-twin Liam! ^_^;

~Katherine Schilling, Editor

SERIES SYNOPSIS
The BRATZ girls--Sasha, Yasmin, Cloe, and Jade--realize they have super powers--flight, psychic, speed, and precognition. Now they'll have to get help from the Center for Extraordinary Abilities to learn how to control these newfound powers. There, they find other students with superpowers of their own, and it looks like the twins Lance and Liam may be using their powers for evil!

CREATOR PROFILES
Christina Peymani (Story):

Anthony Tan (Art): The incredible thing about Anthony Tan is just how varied his styles can be. When scouting for artists for the manga, Anthony came to us with a whole line-up of different takes on the BRATZ girls. I loved them, but it was ultimately his style that resembled the original BRATZ most that one! He was also a total pleasure to work with! For more of his stunning skills, check out http://www.glasshousegraphics.com/creators/pencilers/AnthonyTan/index.htm! His input as an artist can be found in the BRATZ: Super Bratz manga bonus section!

I've have watched bratz before and it was... OKAY, it could be improved by adding a new character. All the episodes are based around the same people... add someone new to spice up the bratz life style.
