As soon as Cain got home to his mansion his servants soon realized what happened.

“Master! Master! Are you alright?” The servants began to ask.

He replied, “Yes, I am. I can tend to my own wounds, thank you.”

As soon as he said this, his servants left.

Cain went inside his room and still wondered what he did wrong about his proposal last night, ignoring the wolf bite. He thought and thought, but the angrier he got, the more irritated his hand was.

“Master! Your breakfast is ready!” His servant called.

“Be right down!” Cain started down the stairs to his dinning room.

“Shall I company you during your dinner, master?” His servant asked.

“No thank you Arnold.” Cain replied.

Cain stopped eating for a second and yelled, “Arnold!”

Arnold came and replied, “Yes master?”

Cain thought for a second and asked a question.

“I tried to propose to Aura last night. Well, she didn’t answer the way I thought and I just wondered what I did wrong.”

Arnold thought and answered.

“You should have done it tomorrow night. It will be a full moon, things like that make woman in a more romantic mood. Perhaps she would have had a different mindset.”

Cain pondered this. And he responded to Arnold.

“Thank you, you may now leave.”

The next morning Cain woke up in a horrible mood. His eyes were bloodshot, his nails severely untrimmed, and his hair very messy. He thought, Oh! What a night! This bite kept me up all night! I should have let my servants treat me medically.

When he looked at his hand the bite mark had completely disappeared. That’s strange, he thought. Cain looked away from it and paid no mind to it.

“Hey Cain!” A voice yelled.

Cain turned around and found Aura running up to him. She jumped on him and started hugging him.

“Hiya! Whatcha doin?” She asked.

Cain gently shoved her off and replied, “Oh, I was just going to see you.”

Aura stood and helped Cain up.

“Oh? Why is that?” She asked.

Cain looked down.

“Well, I was going to apologize for acting like a jerk the other night.”

She laughed. And said, “Don’t worry about it!”

Cain was about to walk away until Aura pulled him back.

“Don’t forget that you have to come to the Winter Festival tonight! It’s a full moon!”

Cain smiled and kissed her gently on the cheek.

“I won’t forget.” Cain said and walked away.

Cain would never forget what happened that night.
