Days of Darkness: Archangels

Azazel paused for a short moment and turned around to look at the old man who called himself Suriel. “How did you know I was his son?”, Azazel said. “Well I saw you fighting those demons and you two have the same fighting style.”, Suriel said. Azazel started walking towards Suriel, with everyone staring at him as if he were going to kill him. “Tell me more of my father, please.”, Azazel said waiting for a response from him. “Fine, fallow me.”, Suriel said. Azazel fallowed as he said and looked around at house Suriel lived in. There was black mold, dead and decaying animals lying everywhere. This was a perfect place for a demon to live. He started questioning if Suriel was in fact a demon or not. “You should stop jumping to conclusions about me. I’m not a demon, there was a just a demon attack here.”, Suriel said laughing like a old man would. Azazel was shocked and surprised by how Suriel knew what exactly he was thinking.

Suriel suddenly stopped in front of a solid blank wall just like every other. But he specifically stopped at this one. “This just going to be between me and you. Don’t tell anyone ok.”, Suriel said with a smile on his face. Azazel nodded and looked a the wall as it started to slide open. As the door opened Azazel could see there was a flight of steps behind the door. Suriel started walking down the steps and Azazel followed him. As they were walking down the winding steps Azazel stopped and looked in amazement and couldn’t described what he saw. All he saw were bright lights and every weapon he could imagine. The bright lights amazed him the most because he had never seen lights that before in his life, he was used to the constant darkness and freezing cold. Suriel turned around and looked at him, “Well you gonna come down or not? You’re just like your father.” Azazel wondered what he meant he was just like his father.

He entered the room and kept looking around and saw all the weapons swords, spears, knives, bo staffs, and guns. “What about my father were you going to talk about to me.?”, Azazel said still looking around in awe. “Well I’m first going to tell you about how all of this started.”, Suriel said. Azazel stopped to turn and look at Suriel wondering what he meant by how it all started. “What do you mean by how all of this started?”, Azazel said. “Well I’m going to tell you how the demons came to Earth and why the Earth is in eternal darkness. Well it all started when me and your father were all apart of …”, Suriel suddenly stopped speaking. Azazel looked and Suriel noticed Suriel had been killed. He ran to help Suriel then Suriel’s body started to detiereate and rot.

Suriel’s final words were, “If your wondering if this was the work of a demon, well you’re wrong. The people, they hate me because of what happened years ago.”, in one last dying breath he said, “Please end this darkness, you’re the only one who can do it.” Azazel slowly put down Suriel’s dead body and got up the go up the stairs. Right when he got up the last step he saw a young man shaking with a gun pointing at Azazel. The man said with great fear, “Go away demon you’re not welcome here and the old man.” Azazel walked slowly towards the young man, the man walking backwards trying to show that he wasn’t scared but Azazel knew that he was deeply afraid of him. “You should put that gun down. You obviously too weak to hold it therefore too weak to shoot it, I’m not like the old man, I’ll kill you with no hesitation.”, Azazel said trying to scare him to dropping the gun. The man then closed his eyes and shot the gun.
