Lost In Thought
You've said words to me that i have never heard before
You've talked to me like I’m a person not a thing
You haven’t looked into my eyes
But some how you can still see my fears
You say words that bring up my spirit
Words that bring back a shred of hope
You say you want only my trust
I have been broken before
But you don’t seem to care
I have felt the pain of heart break
The pain of loss, betray, loneliness.
People tell me I’m a lost cause
You don’t seem to see me this way
I don’t know what you want from me
But then again
I also don’t know what I want from you
I want to give you the chance that you asked for
But I’m afraid to let anyone else in
I don’t want to be hurt
Nor do I want to hurt to
I'm already torn in two with only life
And I don’t want to take you down too
But if you'll give me that chance
A chance to trust some one again
A chance to feel like I have a friend
Maybe even something more
Maybe I too should give you a chance
How this will go I do not know
But only the future can answer
Cause at this moment im lost in thought
You may be the one to pull me outta the dark
But then again I could dragg you down
We will just have to see where this road goes
