I sit in the uncomfortable chair, watching my mother, waiting. The nurse walks in and tells me that visiting hours are over. I just sit there watching the moniter, I know what she said but I won't leave just yet. She sighs, shakes her head and heads back down the hall to her station. I get up and walks to the door just to be shoved back in to my mothers bed, removing the plugs from the wall. The beep and hums of the machines recedes into silence. The machine pumping oxygen into my mothers lungs stops and so does my mother's breathing. I stared at the unbreathing body before my vision became to blurry to see. I look back at who had pushed me into the room and he looked at me for a moment. "Sorry." Was all he said before he dashed down the hall with the police in close pursuit.
Did he think that was enough?
He just killed my mother.
Atleast before, I could talk to her.
Now she was gone and I could do nothing about it. After that it was all a blur, mostly from the tears. The nurse came running in, she saw me and ran back to the station yelling something I couldn't grasp. Maybe I'm going to join mother, wherever she was. Then, everything went black to the sound of guns being shot.
I woke to an annoying beeping sound. "Damn..." Is all I could say. "She woke up!!" Someone says and I heard the clatter of high heels running down the hall. This place was to annoying to be the afterlife.
cool.
I'm an editor, and from my experience this is pretty good. The plot is a little unclear to me, but it leaves me hanging, wondering what's going to happen. Keep up the work! ^_^
