Here's the scenario-- You're walking along the artist alley at a convention and stop at a booth. Upon it, lies a book! It looks decent enough--- but here's the clencher: Its waaaay too expensive! For a self-published 28pg (14 double sided) comic book--- how much would you be willing to pay? Leave a comment if its something more specific. Thanks to anyone who answers!

i wouyld probably pay 10. cuz it is self published and it's really rare. But it is very short
yes, it does depend on what you can afford, also, I put down $11+ but the art better be pretty flipping amazing if I paid that much
It depends on which of my specifications you're asking for... on the basis that I'm broke, $0.99. XD If you want my actual specifications, then it depends on whether or not the story is any good. This, combined with good art, is worth an easy $6-$10. But that's just me. ^_^
Keeping in mind that a manga sells for $10 for an entire volume. It would ultimately depend on the paper/print quality and whether or not it is in B&W or full color and if i like the artwork, friendliness of the artist, etc. I would realistically pay no more than $5-6 B&W/$10 color. Although you could toss them a special deal if they purchase more than one item off your table then they can purchase at a "discounted" price.
i would pay approximately 4.98 at most for that book. but then agin, thats juat an approximation. ^^

Considering it costs about $9-11 to buy an actual manga volume with over 150+ pages, it should certainly be lower than that. I know in Japan's doujinshi (sp?) conventions, I am aware that some amateur artists sell their comic book for about 500 Yen. That's about $5 roughly translated. I don't know how many pages they are though.
