It was late night and was raining hard when Colton was walking to his apartment, when he passed a young girl about his age sitting on a bench near the park he passing threw.   He stopped and looked at her immediately he asked her, “Hey chick, do you have any where to go?” She responded with shaking her head no and was violently shaking from the very cold rain. He picked her up bridal style and too he over to his place. He grabbed a towel for her and said, “Use my shower, ok.” She went to his shower as he waited for her to be done. She opened the door slightly and asked him, “Um….I-I-I need some clothes do you have any thing I can barrow for now?”

  Colton went to his room and brought a huge and long shirt for her to wear for now and said, “I’ll wash your clothes for you after I take my shower ok. You can use my room for now to sleep in. I’ll take the couch here ok.” He headed for the shower, while she changes into his shirt and waited for him in the kitchen. Her short hair was wet still so he grabbed a small body towel and went over to her and says while he dries off her hair, “You can’t leave you hair wet or else you’ll catch a cold!” He saw she was holding her clothes after they had dinner together. He took her hand and led her to his laundry room and she put her clothes in except her jean pants. “Wait, those jean pants I’ll wash later with mine,” he said ah he grabbed her hand before she put them in.

 When they came back to the couch she said, “I-I-I’m sorry for inconveniencing you. I’ll leave tomorrow ok,” when she bowed her head and left for his room. He grabbed her hand and responded, “Do you have a place to stay at currently?” She looked at him in shock and responded, “No, I don’t have one but I can be a burden to you,” as she looked about to cry all of the sudden. He pulled her on the couch and set her down looking face to face with him. “You can leave if you have no where to go. Y-Y-You can… (Gulps) stay here…um…until you find a place of your own ok,” he said with a slight blush on his serous face. She looked at him with a shocked look and said, “Are you serious?!”

He came close to her face and said is a soft and velvet voice, “Yes.” She was blushing like crazy and then she remembered she forgot to give him her name. “Oh, I forgot my name is Traci Knight. I’m 16 years old and a senior at the St. Maria High School ,” she said to him bowing down at the same time. He came face to face with her and said, “You don’t need to bow to me, ok. It’s creeping me out,” he said as his faced turn a slightly pink color. “Also my name is Colton Mars and I’m 18 and I go to Highlander University ,” he said with a straight face and a warm smile. They left it at that and watch TV together until around ten at night when she fell asleep.
