it was horrible compared to the manga!! the voices dont really seem to match the character's personality very well and something just seems off about it

I thought it was pretty good for an anime, though for both the Japanese and the English dub I had some issues with voice actors... usually I like the original anime better than the dubs, but I actually thought some of the voices of the English dub were well cast

I made myself watch the anime, Fruits Basket. I must say I had been expecting much more from it. The english cast was ok, but some of the voices were a tad unbearable. Also, I was deeply dissapointed that it ended in the way that it did. Another thing that angered me when I saw the end was that it skipped alot of important scenes that had been in the manga. Not only that, but some characters that had been in the manga had been left out. I experienced a bunch of emotions at the end of the anime, but I can't say that one of them was happiness, contentment, or any other emotion one should feel when having watched the end of a good anime.
