It was a cold, dark day in the Hidden Mist Village, making the mist that usually hid the village was abnormally thicket. All shops and houses were empty. No one loomed in the streets today. All was still and quiet, the loudest noice heard was the wind that whistled through the dark empty streets. Everyone was gone. And they were all in the arena in the Back of the village.

The village had one straight dirt road that went through the village, that had other streets, entryways, shops, houses on each side. The dirt road went straight through the village and it stopped at a stone collisium. The collisium was a big, barren field that was often use for sparring and training sessions for the ninja of the village, but today was an even bigger use for it. Today, all the Hidden Mist Village people were all in the Colisium, looking down at the empty field in wonder. Today was the darkest, most exciting day at the Mist Village. Every villager was buzzing with excitement, even the Mizukage, Kato Ryoichi, was buzzing.

A month earlier in the village the Mizukage had gotten a messge from an unknown source, stating that he or she wanted to battle him for the Mizukage title. This shocked the Mizukage, but at the same time, it amused him. Someone was brave and cocky enough to go against him, which would be brave of them if it wasn't a foolish challenge. The Mizukage decided to go easy on whoever it was so they wouldn't be humiliated too much. When the news of the challenge spread through the village, that was the only thing that the villagers could talk about. What would the Challenger look like? Is the Challenger a boy or girl? Will the Challenger have a chance against the Mizukage? What if the Mizukage loses? Some of these questions scared the villagers, what if the Mizukage did lose? Would their new Mizukage be an all powerful dictator? Or will he be a kind Mizukage like the current one? No one, not even Mizukage himself, knew the answers to any of these questions. And on the day of the Challenger's arrival before the battle, only some were answered.

 The Challenger was a tall, young-looking man, around 16 or 17. He had medium long black hair, creamy white skin, and wore all black clothing. He had a sword on his left side. The Villagers looked at him in wonder. He looked just like a kid! In the minds of the villagers, the Challenger had no chance against the Mizukage. They all kept their eyes on the Challenger in wonder when they saw the Mizukage step through the arena gates. He had on the usual battle outfit of a jounin. exept he wore a tan jacket with blue-edged sleeves and a blue rim. He kept his eyes on the Challenger, analyzing him the best he could, 'He's just a kid! This battle is already over.' the Mizukage had grinned at his thought, still keeping his eyes on the Challenger, while the Challenger looked around. His cold, deep black eyes had sent chills down the villagers' backs.

 "So you're the Challenger, eh?" The Mizukage said, keeping his eyes on the Challenger, the Challenger had kept his eyes on him as well. The Mizukage looked the Challenger up and down, then chuckled, "You're just a kid! What could u expect from this battle?!"

 The Challenger grinned, "Well, we'll just have to wait and see, Lord Mizukage."

 In that instant the battle began, both of them jumped back. The Challenger pulled out his blade, a little white sword, "Rage, Orishima!" He yelled and the sword turned into a huge diamond covered blade, the villagers gasped, and it impressed the Mizukage a little. The Mizukage did a couple hand signs, summoning water to them.

"Water Dragon Jutsu!" A big water dragon formed out of the water that the Mizukage had put up. The Challenger stood there staring at the dragon, then with one quick swing of his blade, 300 diamonds came out toward the dragon. The villagers thought the dragon would be destoryed but instead, they all went through the dragon's mouth and stayed there. The villagers gasped again, wondering how the heavy diamonds managed to stay in place. Then the Challenger grinned and snapped his fingers. Then the diamonds exploded, which made the dragon explode, witch brought struck to everyone. Then the Mizukage had flash stepped to the Challenger and sweep kicked him, making him fall then upper cutted him in the jaw as he fell. Then before he could deliver another blow, the Challenger disappeared.  The Mizukage chuckled again and his eyes became red. With his eyes like this, he could see anything, in any form, and in any shape or size. The Mizukage looked up, the around him, analyzing everyone in the arena in case he was hiding with them. Then he looked down, and found him. Right below him, was the Challenger. The Mizukage chuckled louder, and summoned more water with hand signs.

 "Water Prinson Jutsu!" He yelled and then the water sinked into the ground and had formed a barrier around the Challenger. The Mizukage had caught him. He grinned as he raised the barrier with his hand, "how does it feel to be caught in such-" The Challenger wasn't there! Instead of the Challenger, there was a doll that had the features of the Challenger with a sign that said "Fooled Ya!!" on it. This angered the Mizukage , but it was too late. Soon the Challenger appeared beside him and side kicked him, sending the Mizukage flying back, but he flashstepped and appeared above the Challenger kicking him down. The Challenger dodged and flipped back, then appeared in front of the Mizukage throwing a punch at the Mizukage. The Mizukage had grabbed the Challenger's fist and and then punched him in the gut with his other hand, then jumped and kneed the Challenger in the jaw, sending him flying into a rock. The Challenger got up and wiped a little bit of blood from his mouth. He pulled out his blade, cut his hand on it, then put it back in the sheath. The Mizukage had no idea what the Challenger did or what was going to happen next.Then the Challenger thrust his palm forward hard and diamonds came out of his hand! The Mizukage was shocked, the power of the Challenger's blade had been transfered to him somehow! The Mizukage then drew his blade. It was big and bulky, and looked too heavy for even the Mizukage. Then the Mizukage put two fingers of his right hand to his mouth and two fingers in the air, "Hidden Mist Jutsu" then the Mizukage disappeared. The Mist got thicker, and the Challenger walked to the middle of the field. Then he closed his eyes . He stood there for a minute, then he began to grin. Then the Challenger punched to the left of him, hitting something, then he jumped and side kicked something, sending it flying. The invisble person was sent slamming into the wall, then the Mizukage appeared in its place, sliding down slowly, not moving. It looked like he used up all his Chakra, which is what happened. The Mizukage was breathing heavily, opening his eyes slightly looking at the Challenger, who was looking back at him from the middle of the field. He then raised his hand toward the Mizukage.

 "It's over, Lord Mizukage. Goodbye." 5 diamonds came out of the Challenger's hand in a flash and pierced through the mizukage. One through the stomach, one through the arm, one through the other arm, one through the head, and finally, one through the heart. The Mizukage Battle was over. The Challenger had won, and the Mizukage was killed.

 Now the future of the Hidden Mist Village was in the hands of the unknown Challenger
