In a reply to questions asked on his blog if more will be revealed about Jareth's past in the last two volumes of the Return to Labyrinth manga he had this to say...
 
'The remaining two volumes focus more on the future of the Labyrinth than the past, but Jareth’s past and nature will come up again.'
