Not long ago Tim Beedle (editor of Return to Labyrinth) told the Myspace Labyrinth group that Return to Labyrinth volume 3 will probably hit stores this autumn. As greteful as I am for The manga I have to ask... why so long? Why take a year for each volume when Greg Weisman (practically on his own) has released an issue per month of the Gargoyles comic books (continuing from the Disney animated series). I know comic books aren't quite the same as mangas but Anne Rice and J. K. Rowling were releasing full novels faster than this and the content of each manga is roughly the length of one chapter of a Harry Potter novel.
Also other Mangas don't take so long. If InuYasha was released at one a year than the fans would have been reading them for two or three decades by now. The same can be said of Full Metal Alchemist and these are actual Japanese manga that have to be translated to English and don't start out in English.
