Alex scowled as he walked to the office of the school. He hated having to move to different places. Ever since that one night, they had always moved around to avoid being located. He shook his head to keep focused on walking out of people’s way and not into any walls. He pushed open the door to the office and went to the lady at the counter. He put his arms on it and leaned closer. "Can I help you?" The female asks in a strange voice, maybe she is sick or something. "Yeah, I need my schedule." "Oh! I know who you are! Just one moment please." She started typing on her computer and printed a few things out before she got up and went to a stack of papers. She flipped through them slowly, which left his mind to wonder back into the past.
"Alex!" His mother cried. "Don't go out there!" It was too late. He opened the door to whoever it was banging and backed up when he saw a tall man standing there. The mad smiled, leaned down and smiled showing off his blooded fangs. The man grabbed the boy and--
"Here it is!" The lady’s' annoying voice brought him back to the present. Shifting his gaze back to her, he watched as she pulled out one paper and handed it to him. "Do you need a map?" He just shook his head and walked out of the office, staring down at his rooms. He looked up and started to head to his first class, he wondered if she would be there.
She lifted her head slightly when murmurs started again. He was standing by the teacher and gave her a note that explained everything. The teacher nodded and pointed to the desk right in front of her. "Oh no....he must think I am crazy and now he has to sit in front of me!" She put her forehead down on her books and groaned softly. The teacher clapped her hands, making her jump in her seat and raise her head. "So....now that everyone is here, your assignment is on the board, get started." She sighed and started to open her book when a voice interrupted her actions. "Can I share with you, since I don't have a book yet?" She looked up at him, "Alex..." her mind told her, and she nodded slowly. She turned sideways in her seat and opened her book. She scribbled the problems down and started to work them out. "How did you get that answer?" She glanced up at him again and put her notebook on the table and pointed to the starting problem. "How would you solve for x?" He just shrugged. She frowned slightly. "Ok well what you do is, this can be added to that side, because you want to get the x by itself. Now since your subtracting that number from x you’re going to add it to the other side. Then all you will have left is x and what it equals. Got it?" He nodded, looking a little lost then it seemed to click. "Oh yes! I remember this now. Ok, thanks." She nodded her head and went back to work and she heard him writing on his own paper. She finished quickly and put her stuff away and waited for the bell to ring, her eyes resting on her pile of books her eyes closed and she could swear that he was staring at her.
Note: This part is from his, Alex, point of view. Mmkay? :] But it changes back to hers.
