I'm obsessed with the movie, I even compare my boyfriend to a skeksi, (his vulture like nose, and vainy feet, loving aren't I?) Jim Henson is a genius, and the movie The Dark Crystal 2, is coming out this spring. I'm crapping myself just thinking about it.
I liked this movie. The manga here looks pretty good. Nice detail in the Garthim!

I just recently read Return to Labyrinth also, and I must say that the coverart is somewhat deceptive. The inside art is good, nothing special or spectacular by any means. I expected a little more, but I like the continuation of the story.

o.O;; somehow, i just can not stand digital tonework, it just looks as if someone painted the drafts with monochrome paints, or worse, a black & white photo (look at the clouds above the Gelfling) *sigh* Also the covers of these Dark Crystal & Labyrinth "manga" appear to look better than the actual content ;__; its a let down. Do they just rely on digital tones & colouring so they can get them on the shelfs faster, thus get a profit sooner? I adore manga aswell as The dark Crystal, yet i shan't be reading this, i hope they bring out a novel so that everyone can know the stories ^__^; as i believe that they have done that for other manga in the past.
I wish we could get Manga in my country withother traveling to the capital... I want soooooooooooooo bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AWSOME!!! I always thought of doing a manga for the Dark Crystal universe but this far exceeds any plan I would have ever came up with. Its GREAT!
