Apathy of users
I've noticed lately that there has been a sharp increase in the amount of users that have official art and stolen deviantart in their galleries. Are the terms of agreement that difficult to understand? No, the problem in many cases of a lack of respect from other users. When confronted, many users shrug off the notices, and in some cases block the people telling them that their screencaps/ect. are in the wrong section. So, when you see someone with official art in their galleries, let them know and flag it. They're stealing from your favorite mangaka by posting screencaps in their galleries. Help eliminate the problem.

It's definitly a lack of respect. That's why I'm in favor of screened submitted art and photos.

Let's hope that Tokyopop does a better job of screening images when the 2.0 version of the website debuts in May. One of these days, a copyright holder is going to sue Tokyopop for lax enforcement of the rules...

Indeed... I just flagged roughly 20-50 images tonight from the art section of recent uploads. It's so annoying that people don't seem to get it... Is it really that hard to just post stuff that you create? Right clicking and saving a picture off of the net is not creating something. And despite that people might put together wall papers, they're still using official art to make it. The Art section of this website is for your own drawings and artwork, not a photobucket for putting pictures you happen to like... Sheesh.
