A girl named Mary Harmonium lately likes to sing, but every time she sings it effects people in ways she cannot explain. Depressed that she will get no where with singing Mary ventures off into her neighborhood park where she hears a big crash and sees a boy with weird hair laying in the ruins of a fence.
