Coming Soon: "Digitally Remastered"

Digitally Remastered is supposed to be the name and idea for my fan manga online at Tokyopop.  I have the entire storyline (major points) stored up in my head.  My friends were a bit surprised when I said I created the entire story from listening to music, reading manga, watching anime, and experience in life.  I don't have much time to make it because I have a lot of homework from my classes.  In a way, it's supposed to connect a bit from my Rising Stars manga entry Life's not how You Draw Out

Kaitlyn Trail is a girl who has her own status-- Not popular, geeky, jocky, emo, or weird.  She's a girl who is a bit known and popular only among a group of classmates she knows.  Kaitlyn can play sports in P.E. with a competitive drive, she is intelligent in her honors classes, and yet has a plain facial look with her eyes as a feature.  She loves to listen to music and each favorite track comes with a piece of imagination.

Venus, the goddess of love, has twin cousins working as subordinates from the land of the gods.  One is the goddess to guard the gate to Heaven and one to guard the gate to the underworld.  Venus promises her cousins of a promotion if they did a project relating to the humans out of moral values, spirit, mind, and complexity of humans.  Aora, goddess to guard Heaven's gate, comes up with the project as a competition of singing and magic.  With her powers as a goddess, Aora manipulated the minds of humans around the world to follow with the competition.  Having a liking to pop culture in music, Aora pitted U.S singers, some Euro singers, and Japanese singers against each other in a friendly contest.  Official singers were asked to join and students from high schools of the three countries were tested to join.
Kaitlyn turned out to be one of the lucky teenage singers but as a sitting duck.  Artists tour across the nations to track down the rookies and take them out.  Hilarity ensues, dramatic plot and stories from the renown artists, and it will be a battle with magic, passion, and music.  Artists who knows about the competition but wasn't asked to join are enraged and join together as the S.O.T.  S.O.T (Singing Out of Treachery) or illegal artists is formed out of as a backfire to Aora's friendly contest.  Those soon-to-be-a-singing-king-or-queen hopefuls that are lucky enough to pass through the domestic round are able to open dimension rifts to their favorite anime/videogame world to train for the second half of the contest.
Main genres are romance and fantasy-- genres mixed in are action, drama, and humor.  First couple pages from the manga are previews and not actual chapters.
Artists currently official in the book so far: Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, Redballoon, Shunichi Miyamoto, Tommy Heavenly6, Nami Tamaki, KOTOKO, Rina Aiuchi, Cascada, Ateens, Play, Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, Ashely Tisdale, and Stacie Orrico.

Anime and videogame worlds mentioned and/or shown in the book so far: Bleach, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, DNAngel, Kingdom Hearts, Kannazuki no Miko, Prince of Tennis, Ouran Host Club, Romeo X Juliet, Naruto, FullMetal Alchemist, Ultra Maniac, Gintama, La Corda D'Oro, Kyo Kara Maoh, and Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
Characters involved/connected to the contest so far: Sora, Riku, Kairi, Namine, main characters from Final Fantasy XIII and Versus, Hino Kahoko, Len Tsukimori, Ryou Tsuchiura, Kazuki Hihara, Keiichi Shimizu, Shouko Fuyuumi, Aoi Kaji, Akihiko Kira, and Azuma Yunoki.
This manga is more seen as a fan-made doujinshi than an actual original manga.  Events that never happened in videogames or animes are fictional so don't hallucinate.  The anime and videogame works belong to their respective creators/company/studios.  Events happening with singers are fictional and relationships are also fictional among them. I hope you enjoy Digitally Remastered when it comes out. ^__^
