She and I--Whole Story

SHE AND I--WHOLE STORY

One in a million
i am not to be mourned for
as it is my fault
that i am no longer among you

I'll tell a story
of the the widow and of the glass.
I did love her
but love like that seldom lasts.

Began on a cold cold day
i in love with a maiden fell
and she knew not of me
from the shadows i did watch her.

And with that I have no love
for any other women
and though she does not know me
I see her every time i look into the glass

I refuse to fight this feeling
i would not if i could
this feeling i had for her
and i would not give to any one else.

One day she met a young man
whos eye caught did she
and they would marry
and children they would have three.

And then one warm warm day
there came a terrible wind
the leaves did twist and turn then
and that first child was taken by the wind.

And I did watch her mourn him,
mourn for that first born son
but she could not cry for long
for two child and one man she had.

Then one dark dark night
her second child did walk amongst the hills
and the ground did shake then
and fall upon him did those hills.

And I did watch here mourn him
mourn for her second son
but she could not cry for long
for one child and man she had.

Then one bright bright day
whilst the daughter did walk in the field
a animal wild did wander
and the girl became his next meal.

And I did watch her mourn her daughter,
she did mourn for her very last child.
And she did mourn for months to come
and the man did hold her tight
to comfort her into the night.

Then one fair fair day
her husband to town did go
he went into the tavern
to wait there for his wife.

And after 5 long long drinks
a gun out of the holster he did pull
for when mourning his children
pulled was trigger by remorse.

And I did watch her mourn him
mourn for the husband she loved
and while she did mourn for him
No one was there for her to love.

And once again i looked into that glass
and saw i did her face
I knew it was so then
I knew to her I must go.
for now she was a widow
who was empty inside i know.

And I came to her window
to watch mourn for them
and she did look up
only to see through the glass to me.

And it was many days then
that we spent amongst each other
until one lovely day
she did the courage pluck to ask.

Why did he do it?
His life he took from me.
Why is he gone now?
To the grave from remorse he did flee.
And he had no gun to end him,
whose bullet did do the terrible deed?

Then it was one solem day
that plucked the courage to tell her i did,
whose bullet it was that he did use
for out of my holster
i let him take the gun
and then he did end him
while watching the setting sun.

Then on that very same day
she did lay among the broken shards of glass
and in that very same glass
when i looked in i saw her face.

And it was then when i told her
that to kill me she should
for if i killed myself
meet her again i never would.

Then a shard of glass she did pick up,
and showed the piece to me
and i did tell her
that when she did she would be free.

And thats when she did it
she bloodied that cold glass piece
and that which i told her
did finally come to be
as i fell for the widow
through the window i did fall.

Come through that window,
her face amongst the broken shards of glass,
and though the glass is broken
knew we both did it would never last.

Her had did the color did turn black
touching the dirt and the filth
while chasing the widow
tried to take me she will.

I am reminded of the glass and of she
and though the glass did cut me
to her mind did stray
Though both did hurt me
it was she who my life did end
And even though Im dead
cried for her innocense lost I did.

Whether or not it must be
to her arms I will run if her i see
for though she ended me
it was i who told her for the best it was.

it is more than gr8t. it is gr8t beyon words but i'm still goin to say that this is relly deep. i loved the feelings and emotion put in2 it and i love how i feel after reading it. this is deep really deep. more deep than the shards caused by a heart broken by the one u most srongly loved and they trew it away and more deep than a tortured soul who now has no home to return to and more deep than anyone could probably and possibly ever fathom.

*Speechless* A story in form of a poem. It maintains a brisk balance and pace of romance and action. Very dark and romantic! It's truly amazing!! This story touched my heart, and with that, I shed tears a many. Keep up the amazing work. *Pop*
