Kikyo all the way. Kikyo did not 'have her time.' She was cheated out of her chance at a relationship with Inuyasha (i.e. Naraku and untimely death), when suddenly (so it was fifty years, but both Kikyo and Inuyasha wouldn't know better) up frolics this brassy school girl who steals Inu in Kikyo's absence. Sure, Kikyo is 'kinda dead.' But so is a lot of other manga characters out there, and they make it happen. It's ironic because I'm looking at an advertisement for "The Dead Girlfriend" manga as I type. Oh, and don't forget about Kohaku; he's dead too, but we allow Sango to have love and sympathy towards him now, don't we? Kikyo is Inuyasha's first and original love. Did you not see that moment at the dock (where she trips and falls into him)? No moments between Kagome and Inuyasha ever tugged at my heart as much as that one did. If nothing else, Kagome's in that insolent phase of adolescence I like to call high school years. In short she's annoying beyond sanity. Oh yeah. I've thought about this before.
