For you, I think Shonen is good though I'm a girl, I tend to like Shojo better. But that doesn't stop from reading Shonen! (this also includes shonen-ai)

I voted for Shonen but it I like Shogo manga is as well. It all depends on what you like to read though. Shonen is more action than it is drama. Shogo is more teen life and drama. Shogo deals with teen issues and problems.
