"Rina. Rina!", Rina slowly opened her eyes the second time she heard the unwelcomed voice, and looked up at the woman standing next to her bench. It was Mrs. Petersen, the middle aged woman that long ago became to bitter to be able to provide any kind of valuable education. She didn't seem even the slightest bit happier today than she had done the day before. But on the other hand that had been the case since they started the spring semester almost 2 moths ago now so to hope for it to change would be to hope in vain.
"What?", Rina asked drowsily. The words made the wrinkle between Mrs. Petersens eyebrows get even bigger, as usual she didn't really like how Rina acted. But, also as usual, she wasn't going to do anything more than to frown about it. If she just had done something one time she would have gotten much more respect from her students, but she didn't seem to understand that. Instead she just straightened her face out and said, "don't sleep in class".
When have I ever heard that before? Rina asked herself with a little smirk on her lips, and then laid back down on the wooden surface. It wasn's even remotely comfortable, but there was no possibility in the world that she was going to keep her energy up the whole lesson. That was just asking to much.
Through the corner of her almost shut blue eyes Rina could see how her classmates looked at her. Admiration, that's what could be seen in their gaze, admiration from both boys and girls. It had been there since the very first time she had stepped inside the room, much more unconditionally than she would have expected it to be. She could still very clearly remember those first steps over the threshold.
"Who is she?", the whispers that actually where almost to loud to be called whispers had eccoed across the classroom, from student to student. "She must be new", someone had said, "righ?". They had all turned toward each other for reassurance, but none of them had the answer. So instead they had fully devoted themselves to staring at her as she sat down in the middle of the row of benches. She hadn't even looked at them, but they had made sure that they hadn't missed a centimeter of her being.
"She's hot", one of the guys had mumbled to his friend halfway through homeroom, and the friend had nodded, "and she smells good". The comment had been odd to her, as far as she knew it wasn't a custom to talk about how people smelled. But this was a different place, she had thought to herself, maybe it was here. The she thougt that she would find out.
She hadn't yet, and now it had beenabout 6 and half moth since that day. The only thing she knew was that it was her hair, long, blond and thick that made her stand out here. However, she still hadn't decided if this was a good thing or not, perhaps it would have been easier to stay below the radar. To late now, she figured where she sat with the special hair in her face, waaay to late. All chances to get by unnoticed had passed her long ago, it actually seemed longer than it was.
"Is there anyone that actually cares about when the rapport is due?", the voice of Mrs. Petersen was frustrated now, but that didn't really help. Her students didn't give a s*** about how she felt, it amazed Rina how she could not have understood this by now. The guilt card only triumps when you use it on someone that actually cares about you.
Bam! A loud bang from outside the window made everyone completely abandone what little attention they had left from their teacher and direct it towards the schoolyard.
"What a hell was that", someone asked in a slightly scared voice, but didn't back away from the window. No one did, that'w how curious they actually where, until Rina subtile cleared her throat and rose form her bench. She didn't like the fact that she had to, not even a little bit, but she had to find out what has caused this distrubance in her boring but familiary comfortable day. This is so not the time a day for this, she remarked to the invisible villon outside the window as her classmates parted as the red sae to let her through. Not even now though, they could help but to look at her smooth face as she passed.
Outside everything looked normal at first glance, nothing was damaged, there was no fire or smoke and no running people. The benced stood where they had always been standing, the trashcans as well. In fact thing looked if possible even more normal than they normally did. So what had been broken? At the sound of it it must have been something big.
Rina leaned a bit forward to see properly, and for a moment there was still nothing. The schoolyard was totally empty.
Then she saw him. Leaned against the opposite wall of the building was a guy. He was tall and slim and wearing a black turtleneck sweather and jeans. In his long fingers a newly lit cigarette was burning, stricktly against school policy. A pair of brown sunglasses leaned against his nose and gave him a nonchalant look that matched his movement perfecty as he took two small steps forward and lifted his head a little.
Under the black hair a pari of dark eyes was glistening. Rina only met the gaze for a few seconds. Those seconds would change everything...
Awsome!

No one really is sho they seem to be. What we think we know about people is based on what they choose to show us. This is the story about Rina, the girl that seemed to have everything...
