Change... is hard...
Hi everyone!
Well, I was reading some of the comments on Jim's blog. I saw that some of you guys like the old site better than the new one that we "failed to launch." I had a feeling you'd feel that way--I know everyone is used to the current site and the new site will take some getting used to.
But I want all of you to know this: whatever happens, we're going to continue to work our asses off for you.
That means please give us feedback on the new site and things you want. I can't promise we can do them all--and not everyone will be perfectly happy. But I can promise we're going to try our hardest. And hopefully we can keep dreaming up cool stuff, along with all the great ideas you guys come up with too.
So, I'll go back to sucking balls as the programmers try to figure out what was up with the database servers.
And in a few days I swear we'll all be using the new site.
One hint: on the new site, I personally think the new function everyone will love the most is CLANS. It may take a bit to get used to how to use CLANS, but they're kind of like Yahoo Groups (only we have a Clan-Master so u know ur at TP!)

dont beat yourself up over site.eveyone's going to have to sleep sometime.(lol)but i understand you. once your devoted to something you cant find it easy to quit.thats how i am with my artwork.keep doing your best X-D.

I saw the beta Tokyopop and thought it was pretty cool! There are alot of new features I really wished were in the old TP. It will take some getting used to but i'm sure I can handle it. Keep up the good work!

well i remember the fisrt tp id checked it out but never rememberd how to fully use it by the way i'm kinda of a retuning member cause the first time i was at the first tp i was knida shy . i didn'nt use to be like this new one and and the options were less (i think). well i'm ready to take on the new 2.0 and see it's capabilities. p.s. just beacuse we programers cant let go off teh wii does'nt mean people kan force us into making sites. muhahahahahahah jes kiding.

Can I make a request? (^_^) Could you please fix the flagging in the avatar section on the new site? The avatar section on this site seems to operate on a different wave-length from the rest of the site, and many of the features don't work...

i think pure1royalty is on to something, i mean, when you add someone as your fan, all you know is if they're a chick or a dude and what country they live in and whatever other details they want to give you, there should be an "about me" section, where you can go into detail, i dont mean like a whole thousand page auto biography, i just mean more details. that would be pretty cool.

Awww, it's OK Stu. My bro-in-law does website work for Bluefly.com and I know how hard it is to update or roll out a new site. I'm urging people to be patient because the new site will be up soon and we'll all forget this delay. As far as the new site, maybe you should (if you already don't) have a function where members can give feedback about it. Either way, keep up the good work!
