Elves Aren’t Bad! Are they?

“Yeah. That’s because I’m an elf. I have to hide it so people don’t freak out when they see me. Well I don’t know what they’ll do when they see me actually. I guess I’d be set aside like an out cast.” I say solemnly. “But so that doesn’t happen…” I start then say cheerfully “You’ll have to promise not to tell! Alright?” I ask him.

I can completely tell that he has no clue what to say. He keeps staring at me as if I’m some sort of a freak. My face turns bright red so I look away.

“Well…ok. I’ll promise you that I will not tell. I mean it is for the sake of the world. But…” he starts to make me nervous.

Oh no! “B-b-but…what exactly?” I ask afraid of his answer.

“You’ll have to do me a eh…little favor.” He puts his face about an inch from mine. My face gets even more red and my heart starts racing. “You must answer ‘Y-E-S yes.’ That is all.”

“Yes? Yes? ‘When the time comes you will know’ is probably going to be your answer, right?” I’m usually a pretty accurate guesser. I shake my head questioningly. “Well?”

All HE says is “Shhhh…It’s a secret!”

"Fine! Then I didn't wanna know anyway!" I say to try to make him tell me.

"Ok, now that that's settled..." He starts but I interrupt him.

"It's not settled! I wanna know!" I try to look as adorable as I can.

"Well either way we don't want that to happen again so lets get you to your locker, and I will tell you when I ask the question! Now lets go...NOW!" He avoids my cuteness by turning around.

'He does have a point' i think. "Ok! Lets go! We'll finish this argument later!" I tell him. 'I will bring it up later...if I remember...' I think.

I finnaly stand up. We pick up my backpack that, thank goodness, didn't spill. Roy starts to walk, I follow a short distance away, the i run a bit to catch up to him. "Come ON! I want to get there as soon as possible!" My chopsticks by now were back in my hair. "I don't want to have another 'accident'!"

"Ok. But are you sure?" He questions.

I nod. we start to run but it's not fast enough for my tastes, "You can go faster than that can't you?!" I somewhat yell. A big smile goes across my face once I say it.

"Yeah. But can you?!" he replies.

"Yep! I can! Don't underestimate me! After all you know my secret! And that secret helps me! So I am the fastest girl in this school! I don't care who is running against me I will win the race! That's one of the abilities I get from having the secret!" I tell him.

We exit the building and another one stands a short distance away. We run for a few minutes and then we enter the other building. It's completely empty. "Ummmmm. Sorry Ryuu but we have another three flights of stairs to go up." he tells me.

"What! Isn't there a faster way?" he starts to shake his head but he stops. "What? What!?" I question him.

"Well...Kinda." I nod my head for him to go on, "Well close your eyes don't say a word and hug me and don't let go until I say you can." I give him a confused look. "Ok?" I stare at him, "OK!?" I nod afraid to ask why.

'Does he just want a hug? or me? Boys are so confusing.' I tell myself. I do as he says.

"Ok Hold on." I hear him say and the next thing I know I am floating in empty space.

'Well now I know why I had to hold on to him so tightly.
