Yes, I know it's odd to take such an early-on vacation when the school year just started. But me being a...-cough- semi-driving force in the school community, managed a good two weeks to go out to Essex for those set amount of weeks for a little rest and relaxation. After all, it's already been a trying school year.

One example of this. Several days ago, I had a ninth year in my class. He's known for being a bit immature and apparently word has gotten out that my class is easy. He was sitting in the back row during a lecture. Half way through a speech I was making about the reign of Xerxes, this kid goes, "Hey, wasn't he the crazed bloke in 300?" I say, "Yes he was." Purely out of nowhere, the kid laughs like I just told a hilarious joke and says, "Hey look, someone we actually know from all this boring crap!"
Needless to say, I had a lovely chat with him after that hour and I don't think he'll be making that mistake again.

Now besides all of that goodness of school, I decided to quit my side job at the Department. I have no need to go there anymore anyways. I never knew people of that caliber could cause so much drama. Then again, I never knew that people have such a strain and lust for power that they can barely achieve. That entire part of the Department is run by either power-hungry fools, greedy ba*sta*rds, or idiots. I refuse to go back there.

So the next two weeks, I'm spending with Aiden. I don't think he's ever been to Essex before. This should be plenty of fun. =3
