I've only seen two doujinshi's, but they were done quite well.

I detest doujinshi... I'd prefer the people who made them to put the same effort into making something original instead of having to use other people's characters to fulfill whatever their slash or shipping related fantasies are. It also breeds fantardism... in my humble opinion. And fantardism (despite being spiffy for companies who want to make money) is a bad thing in my book.
