A boy in elementary school had just finished the book "Sara Plain and Tall" for his fourth grade reading assignment. That boy is Vladamir McFreiheit, a nine year old who lives in Neo California in the year 2201 and he's not who you could call the greatest guy on Earth. He has an overactive growth hormone so he appears as if he's 15 so people tease him for that. He has nothing amazing that he does, he just sits and watches Holovision, and does nothing but eats Ramen and hotdogs all the time. He has an annoying eight year old feminist sister named Moneypenny who really gets under his skin and is a complete no-it-all, plus he has a wonderfully nice and lovable grandmother, a mean and selfish grandfather, a talking dog, and to make matters worse his parents haven't come home for a long time.

One day he when he was walking around in his driveway daydreaming he got bored and went inside to watch the HV. Luckily his sister was watching his favorite channel Animation Network so he didn't need to fight with her. As soon as he laid eyes on that screen he saw this wonderful commercial for a new robot based sport. The announcer said this, "Here it is Marbloids, short for Marble Androids, the newest sport of the 23rd century. These amazing machines can race, battle each other, other things like treasure hunting, and yes even play sports like billiards and golf. After seeing that commercial Vlad was intrigued, he had to do this sport. It wasn't too long before he started to save his money for the first time, and researching this. It would be a long road to 'til the day he could be a pilot, and Vlad knew it. But he was patient, because he knew it would be a reality.
