Making changes

                           Chapter one: An unknown romance

I ran into my locker. I don’t know why I keep dosing off in class so much lately. I need to make a mental note to drink some coffee or stop by starbucks .My grades will start to slip if don’t wake up!!!

And the strangest thing is that my daydreams have all been about Sammy. I mean I know he is my best friend and all, but we have established that we love each other but only as friends. And that we would always be there for each other. But recently when ever I see him I start to worry about how I look like how my hair is and all of that stuff. Which is weird to me because I stop and think this is my Sammy. The Sammy I have known since I was practically born. The Sammy who had a crush on me since 1^st grade. Oh my god he is coming my way!!! Where is my mirror, I knew I shouldn’t have left it at home. Oh my god he is comm-. “Hi autumn” Sammy said so perky and bright like he just got off of a ride at Disney land. “Hi Sammy what’s up?” I ask trying to sound just as cheerful. “ I just got accepted into UCON!!!” Sammy says .He jumps around and starts skipping around and then when he got tired he just held on to me for 5 minutes. I let go of his fierce grip. ”Oh Sammy I am so happy for you!” I say. I open my locker and look for my chem. Lab book. “So have you decided on a college yet?” Sammy asks me. “No I want to go

To Florida university But I want to stay close to home too. Sammy how did you decide?” I stare at Sammy’s long shaggy brown hair. “ Well I just chose what school I wanted to go to more. Why don’t you go to a school that is close to home that is like Florida University?” Sammy says opening his locker that is right next to mine. “You should go to UCON with me or Boston University. They are great schools if that is what your worried about” Sammy said. “No no that is not it is just that you know I am not good at making up my mind.” I said almost sounding like I am trying to have Sammy make up my mind even tough I really not trying to make him make up his mind. “Oh well I guess I have to make up my mind later I have so many things going on at the moment.” I say. “I’ll see you later I guess.” I say and I start to walk away. “Autumn don’t forget Rush hour movie marathon at my house tonight 9:30! I’ll see you then right?” Sammy stood there in the middle of the hall, still with that silly little grin on his face. I am not sure any more if it was because he just got accepted in to an Ivy League college, or if it was because he just talked to me. “ Yea of course! I’ll call you later.” I said. Looking back at him. Still smiling jeeze!
