I didn't think that it would be. Blood: the last vampire is more of an an action flick and Blood+ is more of a drama , although there is still alot of action involved. Stories are way better w/ drama. I love Diva. Even though she is like you said , evil. All her problem ever was , was that she was lonely. 
Otanasi isn't my clan. I'm guessing it's called that because that's Sayas last name. No I don't think I've ever been to manga. com. I haven't seen Blood : the last vampire. But I would like 2. Have you seen it ?
