New York may be a helluva town, but my feet have just applied for a week's vacation.

New York Comic Con - 3 blurry days of manga, Star Wars cosplaying, Stan Lee fan-swarms, pub dinners and Marti LeGrow showing the entire showfloor what was printed on her underwear *grin*
That girl needs her own late night comedy show.

Anyway, Divalicious! went very well - there were no free magnets, badges, special bonus comics, cover cards or postcards left by the end of the con (and to the two naughty people who STOLE the sample copies of the book, Tina is VERY disappointed in you). T and I had a great signing - we aren't drawing the Bizenghast or Dramacon crowds yet, but give it time. This is TINA YOUNG we're talking about here! The adoring fans will come yet :)

I give massive shout-outs to all the Tokyopop guys who looked out for me and took care of me and put up with my desk-fussing presence for 3 days, especially Tim, Paul, Candice and Rob. Tokyopop have the coolest staff evar!

I also really want to thank Alan Payne, who has worked everywhere and knows EVERYONE and still made time to talk to a little newbie like me and teach me that the best memories involve cartoonists, a lot of alcohol and an evening in Tijuana. ;)

Also big heys to my fellow artists who were all so very very awesome - especially Rivkah, Svetlana and my rockin' redhead roomie, Amy 'Fool's Gold' Hadley. *waves*

Unfortunately, there were no copies of Divalicious! available to sell at the con, which was a BIT of a bummer. Our VERY-limited numbers of little bonus comics suddenly became our only samples. Apparently, Borders bought FAR more than they pre-ordered and gobbled up the print up. O_O

I... am TOLD this is a very good thing. There is NOT ENOUGH TINA LOVE TO GO AROUND!
But don't worry, if you've pre-ordered Divalicious! through this site or Amazon, you WILL get your book. As for Borders, whether you will find the book on shelves now really depends on the store. March 13th is Absolute Big Release Day, so if NOTHING else, it will be in stores then!
