Kakashi’s Bad Day. I had the strangest day yesterday, I woke up to the shouts of my nin-dog, Pakkun “Kakashi kakashi wake up!” he yelled by my side. “What do you want Pakkun?” I asked, instantly awake. “You’re 1 hour late for your Jonin meeting”. “Ok, now this is really bad” I whispered to my self, last time I was late the 3rd Hokage sent me on a top ranking mission as an anbu black op’ to rescue Sasuke from Orochimaru’s lair, which was full of traps, snakes and the dead bodies of ex- fire country ninjas. Orochimaru is as skilled a fighter as the Hokage. I needed to get ready quickly, just as I was ready and was going to look in my old mirror I remembered what the 3rd Hokage said he would do to me if ever I were late again… “Come on Kakashi, time to go!” Pakkun shouted even louder. “Ok, ok, I’m going, now it’s time for you to get going too” I urged my faithful assistant. “See you later Kakashi, bye”, Pakkun left in a huge poof of smoke. Now it’s time for me to get moving I thought. Two minutes later I arrived at the Ninja Academy, Iruka came up to me with a very unhappy face and said angrily “you’re very late Kakashi what an…” his face seem to change to a smile, “…idiot?” This is weird I thought as people’s angry faces turned to smiles. The 3rd Hokage simply sat there, his stern face the only one not grinning. The meeting continued for another hour before I could go to the bridge where me, Sakura, Sasuke, Naruto always met up for training or before doing a mission. “Sorry I am late I got lost on the path of life.” “As if… You always use that excuse,” shouted Naruto and Sakura annoyed. As I got closer all their faces seemed to change except for Sasuke Uchiha’s which was as stern as the 3rd Hokage’s, he only ever smiled when Naruto screwed up. “Today’s training is to find Pakkun in the forest.” I told them, trying to ignore their smiles. “All right K-Kakashi” they chuckled trying to be serious. “Ne, ushi, tora, hare, tatsu, mi, uma, hitsuji, saru, tori, inu fox” I summoned using the hand signs, “GO!!! Pakkun” I shouted. “I’ll give you these so you can communicate with me” but no one was listening, they couldn’t stop laughing. I was so angry, no one had taken me seriously all morning. I rushed home feeling really stressed, I am a sensei, people should have been listening to me – they did normally. I wanted to know what was wrong with me, so I looked in the mirror to find that in my rush earlier I had forgotten to put on my mask that usually made me look serious and without it my secret was revealed… I have a rabbit shaped birthmark on my chin. My only hope was that if I put on my mask again everyone would start to take me seriously once more. by animegrit
