KAT & MOUSE: A Perfect Little Pair

This illustration was made by combining two character illustrations and giving them a simple border and font treatment. I don't believe any of us even asked Federica to create it for us. She just kinda sent it to us out of the blue during the project's development, but when we saw it, we knew we had our Kat and Mouse. This illustration perfectly captures the look and personality of the two characters. They look the right age, and more importantly, they look like girls you'd want to get to know. This is crucial in shojo manga. You don't want your main character to look like a beauty queen. If you do, only other beauty queens will be able to relate to her!
