I SAW IT!! I SAW IT ALL!!...But what is it? Where am I? Who am I? I hear a voice. Who’s voice is it? I open my eyes. The light burns and I’m forced to close them again.

“Are you okay?” the person asks. I look over at the person.

“I think so. Where am I?” I ask.

The boy says, “You’re at the park. Why were you sleeping here?”

“I-I d-don’t kn-know.”

“I’m Sasuke Uchiha. And you are?”

“I think…what is my name?” I ponder aloud.

“WHAT!? Wait, wait. You don’t know your name?” he asks.

“I-I think it’s….Rose Smyth”

“Y-y-you think?! You’re not sure?”

“N-no. I can’t remember anything. But I’m pretty sure that’s my name.” I said.

“Well, well. Who is this?” a new voice asks.

I look over and say, “I’m Rose Smyth.”

“I see.” He says. “And where are your parents?”

At this I start to cry, “I don’t know” I say as I cry. “ I don’t know anything!!”

“You can’t remember anything?” he asks in surprise.

“Well….I do remember my name, and I saw it.” I tell the man.

“It?! what do you mean by it?!” he asked alarmed.

“I-I-I d-don’t know.” I say. I’m still crying because now I’m scared. “The thought just keeps replaying itself in my head!!”

He comes over to me and tries to comfort me as he says, “It’s okay. You don’t have to remember it right now. Sasuke, did you see anything before she woke up?”

He shook his head “no”.

“uh-huh. I see. Well then, we’ll have to find her a place to live.” The man said.

“ummm….Lord Hokage, there’s a problem.” Sasuke said.

“And what would that be?” the man, the Hokage?..said.

“She doesn’t attend the academy. And I haven’t seen her around the village.”

“uh-huh. I see…so she moved here from another village. But why?”

“the only person who can answer you is Rose.” Sasuke stated. They both looked at me. Then at each other.

“Well. she obviously can’t help us now.” the Hokage said after a minute of silence. “Rose needs her rest.”

“yeah, you’re right.” Sasuke says while helping me up. “Come along Rose.”

I nodded and said, “Okay.” I said good bye to Sasuke and followed the Hokage. As we walk away he asked me once again, “Do you remember who or where your parents are Rose?”

I shook my head, “I’m sorry but I can’t remember anything but my name and I saw it. Everything else is simply……gone.
