I do not believe it is right but one thing everybody pursues in this life is happiness so who is anybody to say that the union between two people who love and want to be with each other should not be allowed?

It at least should not be called a marriage. Marriage is a special union intended between a man and a woman. If two people of the same gender want to live together, that's fine with me. But they shouldn't become a "married" couple, persay. So in that case: married, no; partnership, ok. It's still wrong, though.

Peoples reasons for gay marriages are generally stupid and based on false facts. Like when they say that the 'old testament' (or Torah) says it's bad. It said that people of the same gender should not have sex because no children would be made and they needed more Jewish people. It's one of the many things that applied only to that time. I happen to have a Rabbi on my side for that ^-~
