Chapter 1:

Enter!'The World'!

Her eyes refocused from the burst of light to see the town of Mac Anu. Player Characters of all kinds

looked at her as she struggled to walk her first few steps in 'The World'. Once she caught her balance

she looked around to see the entire area of the town and every virtual inch of the automated server

base. She walk down the brick street to find a canal separating the town into half. The sparkling water

glistened with her reflection as she looked down upon it. People behind her rushed along the crowded

streets, pushing and shoving, making her fall into the water of the canal. The slash was sudden and only

a few caught a glimpse of her falling. She floated, suspended in water with no clue how to get out on her

own. Within seconds there was another splash of someone else diving into the canal. There was a faint

sound of someone yelling before she felt herself being pulled up. As hard as she tried, there was no

first breath as she was pulled out of the water, until she felt something against her lips, pushing air into

her. She gained conscience and sat up and coughed out some water before looking to her side opposite

of the canal. There sat a boy about 16, a little older than her, with aqua hair and eyes and a dark tan

hat. When he saw she was alright he gave her a big grin.

"You gotta look out for yourself, ok?" He told her, still smiling, "Oh, by the way, I'm Kite"

"Oh, I will...I'm Hikari, thank you so much" She bowed to thank him more formally.

"No problem, don't worry 'bout it" he reassured her as he helped her up, “So you're new to The World?"

"Yeah, I just logged in for the first time a few minutes ago" She explained to him.

"I'm guessing you don't have any party members, do you?" He asked as he led her down the street.

"No, well, my friend might be joining in a few days, but until then, no “She answered.

"You can join mine if you want, then you can meet my friends and get to know more people" He told her.

"Really, sure, that'd be great" She told him as she accepted his offer.

"Great! C’mon, you’ve gotta meet everyone!" He told her enthusiastically before grabbing her hand and taking

around the docks next to the canal to an alley, then through a door, "Here we are" he told her before

turning to everyone else "Hey, this is Hikari, she's new"

"OMG, hi!" a girl with cat ears and tail squealed, "Hi, I'm Tabby!"

"Umm...hi, nice to meet you" Hikari told Tabby.

"Calm down, she's gonna think you have ADHD" Said a guy with white hair, dressed in all black, "I'm Haseo"

A boy who looked like Kite, only shorter with bigger eyes walked up, " I'm Shugo"

Following him were two girls with the same pc's " I'm Black Rose" said the taller one

"And I'm Renna" said the shorter one. They Both had red armor, tan skin, and pale pink hair.

"I'm Ouka" said a girl with big boobs, silver hair , and wolf ears.

"Hello, I'm Shino" a woman with light pink hair and pale skin introduced herself, " Unfortunately Ovan, Orca,

and Balmung just left, but they usually don't stay around that much anyway"

"Oh" Hikari responded before addressing everyone "Hi, nice to meet all of you" She waited until everyone

went back to what they were doing before going to talk to Kite "Hey,Kite" She spoke softly, "Is

this one really big party or something?" she asked

He started to laugh a little silently, “No, it's a guild” he told her. She gave him a confused look, "It's

like a group of people who hang out and stuff"

"Does that mean you don't go out and fight or level up?
