    Heck yes!!!!!! Its filled with action and fun to watch. The only reason it got 4 stars instead of five is because the fact that its in japanese with english subs. This makes it semi difficult to follow. I also definately recoment reading some of the books or mangas before watching it on youtube. It dosnt necissarily describe the main points that you need to know (like the fact that its about an online game, or another example being like for instance what a grunty is) as well as it does in the novels. If you are going to read one of the  novels though may i recommend ".hack: the legend of the twilight" (mainly because its the only one ive read). But overall, answering the question: "Is it worth your time watching dot hack sign on youtube?"; i would say yes, and just a tip: press pause on every subtitle because sometimes they go fast and doing this can help you keep track of whats going on.
