Taki caused the reaper's scythe to stop, it made a screeching noise as it cut against Taki's dagger. Taki pushed back the reaper and began swinging at him, the slashes did little damage because wherever Taki sliced him he just regenerated. The reaper thought of a way to stop Taki though, because as he backed away he dissapeared and then reappeared in front of the hero who was only being held up by the sheath of his katana. The reaper took his scythe and again stabbed it through him, the hero felt so much pain that he nearly fell over. The reaper picked the hero up on his scythe then stuck him to the tree, the hero's head leaned over forward and blood began running down the tree. The hero looked up and saw Taki again not even battling the reaper but trying to keep him away from her. The hero with his last bit of strength grabbed the blade of the scythe with both hands and pulled it out of his body. The hero fell down on his feet, but a huge splash of blood came from his mouth, he pulled out his katana and instantly his power rushed out of him. Darkness enveloped his entire body and his clothes changed into a dark black. His wound was healed but his pain was by far gone because of the immense amount of blood he had lost. He appeared in front of the reaper just as he was about to strike Taki down, Taki fell down and looked in amazement at the hero for she thought for sure he had been killed by the reaper. The reaper struck with a huge force, but it was not enough to break the hero's block. The hero held up his hand and a huge sphere of darkness appeared and the reaper was blown backwards toward a bunch of trees, the blast was so powerful that it blew down all the trees in front of and behind the reaper. The reaper picked back up his other scythe and came after the hero yet again. The hero turned around to make sure Taki was alright, she had been cut slightly on her leg but she would be fine. He held his hand near her leg and let a little bit of his energy come through his hand and healed her instantly. She looked at him and said how did you do that and where did you obtain such energy? At that moment the reaper stabbed both his scythes inside of the hero. He said could you excuse me for a moment while I take care of this minor annoyance. Then he disappeared and appeared right in front of the reaper this startled the reaper and he jumped back a little bit, the hero jumped forward and blasted the reaper with a huge blast of darkness. The reaper was incinerated into infinity including his scythes, the hero in that brief second disappeared and reappeared in front of Taki. Taki touched his face and then fainted, she awoke the next morning with sweat on her head. This time the hero had saved her and had brought her back to her house or what was left of it. He had fallen asleep over his sword, she looked out her window and when she looked back he was gone, she got up and noticed that her leg was bandaged (unfortunately it wasn't a very good job at all). She walked outside and saw that he was sitting on the branch of a tree and he said well it took you long enough to wake up. Her face turned red and she said what the hell are you talking about when I woke up you were asleep too. He said sure if that is what you think, then he fell back and began doing sit ups on the branch of the tree. She decided to do a trick on him for making her sound like a late sleeper so she pulled a smoke bomb and was prepared to throw it, when all of a sudden he appeared in front of her and stopped her from releasing it from her hand. He said we won't be having any of this today alright, she calmed down and hugged him. Tears ran down her eyes and she said I was so scared, he pulled her closer to him and kissed her, they both just set there for a while just kissing. When they stopped he held up his hand to her eye and wiped a tear and said no more crying. She said ok, but you have to promise that you will teach me how to be as powerful as you, and one more thing, that we will always be together forever. His usual smile turned to a frown and he lowered his head to where there was a shadow cast over his eyes, he said I'm not sure I will always be here though. She said just promise, please even if it is just a lie, please just do it for me. He hugged her and whispered in her ear I promise, then she said oh yeah I forgot to tell you the village elder said that a few powerful demons have been sighted around in the deep forest and our village's fortune-teller might be able to find out where they came from. She said that it is a small chance, but it could be one of the demons you spoke of in your dreams........ I mean never mind, hehehe forget I said anything gotta go bye. Taki made herself dissapear, then the hero was left to think about what he was going to do with the rest of his time until he decided to go and check out about the demons. He exercised until Taki returned with a bag full of goods. She said I bought a few supplies for our demon hunt, she pulled out a pair of black gloves and threw them to him, he looked at them and said what are these for, she said these will make your hands as light as a feather and will give you a little bit of protection. She pulled out a matching pair of pink gloves designed especially for her, she said these gloves are different from yours they will focus all of my spirit energy and allow to me to make energy blasts like you except my energy will most definitely run out before yours since I'm not used to releasing such high amounts of energy. She also brought out a pair of black shoes for him, and said these were made from the scales of a Leviathan. They will allow you to walk on air without releasing that much energy. She said and the final thing is a katana for me, I will probably still use my dagger from time to time but I want to learn some of your techniques so that I will be as strong as you. She said in fact maybe you could show me one right now, he said sure I'm always willing to teach someone something, he pulled out his katana and sliced the air and created a strong gust that formed together to make something that looked kind of like a crescent moon that moved very quickly. Taki said cool let me try, she sliced the air and the katana hit the ground. She looked at him and rubbed the back of her head and said maybe I should learn how to wield it before I learn techniques hehehe. She put the katana back in its sheath, and went back into the house. He put on his gloves and new shoes and went into the house. He asked her was she ready to go to the fortune-tellers house and she said sure let's go. They left the house and went down a few blocks until they came upon a dank, old house that looked way past it's time, they knocked on the door and it opened up with a loud creaking noise. They entered the house and saw a big fireplace lit at the end of the hall, they walked towards it and saw two big chairs and a table to the left of the fireplace and to the right they saw two big doors one was red and one was black. They walked over to the fortune-teller sitting in one of the big chairs and asked her if they could sit down. She shook her head up and down, so they sat down next to each other in a big chair. They saw a bunch of cards thrown out on the table and wandered to themselves what have we gotten ourselves into. Taki reached up to touch something odd-looking on the table, when boom the fortune hit her hand with the cane. Taki brought her hand back and said owww what was that for. The old lady said do not touch tools of my craft, she said fine then she was mad now and the hero was the only one who she could take her anger out on. So she started trying to mess with his she scooted close to him and whispered in his ear, man is it hot in here and she raised her shirt forward enough to see a very small portion of her breasts in order to tease the hero. He said no Taki you're not gonna get me this time, he scooted a little distance and she scooted even closer to him. She said what are you talking about it is just very hot in here she raised forth her shirt, and just as he was about to take another peek she slapped him out of the chair and said you pervert you were staring at my breasts. He rose up and smiled at the old lady who seemed to be doing something on the table and paid no attention to this, Taki smiling with a most infuriating smile stared at the hero and said what happened to you. He sat down again this time though Taki said ok ok I understand this is important you have to take things more seriously. The fortune-teller finally rose up and came to both of them and she told the hero to hold out his hand while she read his palm, she stared quite hard at his hand for a while and said you are destined to go through great trouble in the future, but in the end the decisions you make will determine your fate. She said there will be two doors, one will be of darkness, and one will be of light, the color does not matter let your heart decide which one you will take. She took Taki's hand and said you are destined to follow him on this journey to help him find his purpose but according to your palm you can also endanger both of you if you are careless and don't believe in him with all your heart. She said o.k. You both may leave if you are ready said the old lady but don't rush it, take your time. The hero rose up from his seat and walked out the door.
