How come when your near
It’s the only time I feel here
My mind stops screaming
And I start dreaming
I see you as something new
And wonder if you are true
I look at you
and some how I knew
You were the one who wouldn’t bring me down
You could make a smile from my frown
You wouldn’t beat me to the ground
And maybe your too kind to push me around
My emotions for you have become a scandal
That alone I can no longer handle
If a poem I give you is thrown away
Know my love for you will always stay
I used to think that I was breaking
Only to find out that my heart was aching
AS much as I want you beside me
I know we cant be
We come from different places
And walk at separate paces
From a distance at you …I’ll stare
And forever hope you are unaware
