I think that Kikyo would be Inuyasha's lover because since Kagome is Kikyo's resurection person, Kagome wouldn't exist because Kikyo is alive. and since Kikyo has that pearl thingy then it wouldn't be broken and the travel for it wouldn't happen. So with Kikyo alive, Kagome would not exist and so Kagome and Inuyasha wouldn't be together. That is my conclusion (thats for my science teacher!!!!) lol
