Escape

She huffed and puffed her way out of her car. Her large body struggled to lift up. She waddled down her driveway. At the doorway she searched for her keys. She opened the door and peeped her head in the doorway," HENRY she screamed, STAY AWAY from this door". She had to catch her breath.

The door was jammed as usual because of all the rubbish and clutter blocking it. The poor cat Henry wanted to escape, he knew she was slow and he was quick, but all the junk in front of the door was an obstacle.

The women's fat hand pushed the door closed. She shoved her keys back into her purse. She immediately made her way to her computer and sat down. She shoved a left over sandwhich into her mouth. Her greasy fingers typed away at her keyboard.

"Henry, she called, Henry, come here now",she demanded. The cat was nowhere in sight. She gobbled up the sandwhich and drank some left over soda from a dirty cup.

Henry's ears perked up he ran to the window, there she was. The young girl, she was riding her bike, with a basket on the handlebars. He purred, he longed to be w/ her. The girl rang her bell and stopped. "Henry, is that your name?" She looked toward the house and into the widow. "I'll help you."

The fat women was still at her computer when she heard a noise, whats that she thought. Before she could move she saw the front door had opened a crack, OH NO!! Henry darted past her and out the door. The womens body moved slowly and she struggled to get to the door.

Henry was free! His head held high, his four paws trotted along the sidewalk. The little girl scooped him up and placed him into her basket. "Come on Henry let's go." She peddled her bike away and rang the bell. Henry's front paws dug into the basket, the breeze touch his fur. He had finally felt the life he deserved. He was free.

The fat women finally made it to the door, she was alone.
