hey....i was wondering.....is 127 the right weight? (i'm 5'4" and still growing) i'm not the type to get all worried about my weight, but i just suddenly gained 15 pounds (probably from french fries!) and my whole family (my mom, dad, sister, dog, cat, aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins, grandma, grandpa, everyone except for my cousin hope) is pretty big (250+ and their all 5'1".....) and i've seen what's happened to them, you know, my uncle had a heart attack from all the cholestrol, and my second cousin died from his heart attack. and diabettes runs in the family too, so that's what's got me worried, i just don't want to end up like that. so that's why i'm asking is 127 pounds the right weight for me? i asked my family and they said i was a 'stick' but....i mean...compared to them... (not to be mean!!!)

Use a Body Mass Index calculator to figure out your "acceptable" weight range for someone of your size. The one I tried that didn't specify child or adult says you are a 24.9, which is the very high end of normal. http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/Calculator.aspx I'm 5'7" and I weight the same as you, and I even look average weight. If your worried about cholestorl, watch what you eat. If you think your at risk when your older, consult a doctor.
