oh...my...god...it makes sense now...
anyone who's read my profile before knows that i'm a big skip beat fan. well, i was reading the past couple of chapters because i wanted to reminise. i suddenly realized something. what ever happened to that drama that ren and kyoko were going to do (the mean people roles, it's around chapter 99-100) and i was wondering 'what happened' and well, the director there said that they'd start filming at the begining of the year, and i realized that in the book (chapter 119,) it's already the 25th of december. AND! get this, in chapter 103 (or 104) it said that shou fuwa would be releasing a new song on december 25th, and if you just read chapter 119, you'd find out that kyoko's birthday is that day!!!! so, it would be safe to assume that shou's new song is like a birthday present for kyoko!!!!!!!!!!!
well, i just had to get that off my chest....
