This book probably has it all... Comedy, romance, sci-fi, and sword-swinging action. the only thing missing from it is reality!!! this Series has it's huge ups and downs (and i mean REALLY huge ups and downs) in the story starting with a under-achieved start to a beautiful ending... The only problem I had with the series was that the Japanese-to-English Rewrite had some problems with the editing, such as some of the original Japanese dialogue was still seen in a couple of chapters.... nothing major.... If it were up to me, i'd give it a 4.5.... The artwork is beautiful if not dazzling, compared to other Manga. The only regret I have is not being able to get some inside stuff from the series From Japan to the US, such as the games and artwork books... oh... and did I forget to mention it got the 2002 Anime Expo Award for best manga? If your new to getting the series, it should have the emblem of its accomplishment on the front...
