Yo hoo~! The Sakuran Japanese Society club I've joined is involved with the Hanamatsu Japanese Students Exchange program my institute is hosting this wednesday.
Talk about overseas guests.
Sakuran Japanese Society club has to prepare the receiving hall for the games & food session and the conference theatre where the exchange of speeches and mementos of token are to be held.
Half of the club which includes 3rd-language students has to be the participants to bring the Japanese students around and interact with them. The rest are game and events operators.
Now is 2.45pm afternoon here in Singapore and later at 6pm, I've to be in school to help out with the decorations and preparations of the Exchange Program. On the day itself, I'll be an event operator.
The participants are the lucky ones. They get to make friends with the Japanese students and some even exchanged emails with us (this is from the previous seniors' experience).
Tomorrow will be the big day. Hope everything goes smoothly >_<
