We were drowned in our own light

Were we beautiful?

Hand in hand

We walked our paths separately

The killing lights

They never worked

Flashing their red

They never roused us

They can’t kill us

We stay together

In beauty and bliss

No I don’t want it

Stay with me

In this darkness

Forget this already crumbling reality

Shining in its own space
