For Kemmy, a girl from the Sticks, life in the big city is exciting. Her job making deliveries for Club Sushi is really only a cover for her real job--a Karma Club agent. In a world where Karma has replaced cash, there isn't much crime. But when something smells fishy, Kemmy and her Karma Club team are the first to notice. Together, they fight evil with good vibrations, making music that neutralizes bad Karma. But when a rash of serious crime oozes through the Big Melon, will their talents be enough to save the city? And what's with all that grody green goo?
Kemmy
16-year-old, pink-haired vocalist. She is unaware that she is the princess to the original B family. In this family are two brothers: one evil, 'B' behind B-Rok (unknown to reader), and Kemmy's father (a good guy, though presently presumed dead). On her sneakers is the original logo that represents the now defunct kingdom. She is an all-around skilled crime-fighter and the Karma Club's ace member.
Shay
17-year-old African American bassist with advanced technical intelligence. Very mature. Excellent Sky Boarder.
Phoebe
16-year-old Asian bassist with too much attitude ... but she's also an incredible creator of ready-made tools, weapons, and gadgets when the Karma Club needs them the most.
Arcus
16-year-old blond guitarist who SkyBoards like a pro, is very athletic, and gets the squad out of sticky situations. A bit of a 'goof' with funny but dumb witticisms.
Karyna
15-year-old Hispanic keyboardist who loves boys and all things feminine. She's girly, but she also possesses superior skills when it comes to finding clues because she's aware of appearances.
Big Ed
Watcher of the Karma Club. His 'cover' identity: the owner of Club Sushi.
Dawn Queen
Currently the figure-head evil leader of the TUNNEL.
Phatlantis Phive
Name of the Karma Club's music group.
D.J. Milky
D.J. Milky likes to eat ramen late at night and oatmeal for breakfast. Addicted to digital and analog fusion, Milky is in a constant state of flux and irk. Life's one reward comes in the form of creating stories, music, and lately shooting DV.
Milky has composed a few songs for TOKYOPOP including "School's in Session" (GTO), "Initialize" (Initial D), "Worthy of Your Soul" (Reign), "The Power of Destiny" (Rave Master) and "Rave-olution" (Rave Master).
Along with Princess Ai, Milky is currently developing some new manga: Juror 13 and Treasure Chess, as well as writing the novel Karma Club and the Stray Sheep books for children.
Milky often forgets which side of the road to drive on, overcompensating for this by staring intently into the vortex.
