When the discovery of an alien organic vessel submerged in the ocean reveals the key to planetary destruction, a collective of evil scientists called the Reclaimers work to unlock mankind's extinction. As one of Earth's defenders, Hime Utsumiya fights on a team of alien organic mecha called Brain Powered's to combat them. Unfortunately the Reclaimers also have these mecha and mankinds fate lies in the balance.

Yuu Isami
A Reclaimer for Orphan these past six years. After a fateful encounter with Hime Utsumiya, Yuu decides that destroying all the inferior humans isn't the best way to save mankind, and attempts to kill his parents, Orphan's leaders. Failing that, he escapes Orphan in a Brain Powered Antibody. A hot-headed young man who lets nothing stand in the way of his goals, he wants to take Orphan on by himself. He despises his parents. He is seventeen years old.

Hime Utsumiya
While taking refuge with her three younger siblings, Hime comes across a newborn Brain Powered and is immediately accepted as its pilot. A kind and gentle older sister type, she is mindful of those around her, but for some reason can't seem to get along with the main character, Yuu Isami. She talks to and about the Brain Powereds as if they were her younger siblings.

Quincy Issa
This is Yuu's older sister, Iiko Isami. Sure of her status as one of the most superior beings on Earth, she rules Orphan with an iron fist. Intolerant of the slightest insubordination, and ought for her brother's blood.

Kanan Gimosu
Yuu's best friend while he was still in Orphan. At first she was angry with Yuu for not talking with her about his plans to leave Orphan; but then she becomes unsure of whether she was right to stay. She feels Orphan is the only place she truly belongs, yet doesn't feel that anyone really cares about her.
